My wife and I were visiting downtown Reno for a few days (aka gambling) and my sister who lives near San Francisco drove out to meet us on a Friday. We were looking for an unusual adventure and wanted to see something of local sites/history....More

Went on the mine tour with 10 of our friends, some from Ireland, we happen to be locals of the area, today, September 8, 2016, which happened to also be my husbands birthday. The tour guide took a dislike to me and was constantly rude...More

Regular tourist place, old and worn. Bar, music, etc. We didn't have the time to check out the mine, but I'm sure that would have been very interesting.

We had time constraints so this mine was perfect! Guide was knowledgeable. We were in an actual mine so we got the feel and sense of what it was like. And its all right there on the main road.

It's not much of a flat walk into the mine (they punched this entrance from the back of the saloon to make it easy for you to enter instead of climbing down a mine shaft!), but the guide has several highlights to show - ore...More

Enjoyed the tour with my 70+ year old parents, who couldn’t undertake a more strenuous tour (such as Chollar Mine). Excellent tour guide and engaging historic facts provided. Everyone in our party really had a fun experience!

Just long enough and just short enough, lots of history and information. Have a drink while waiting and then stroll down the street and have a good time.

The entrance to the tour was a whole lot better than the tour itself. It was very interesting though. You might want to go if you're there.
