We really lucked out on the brilliant sunset sky; even the Captain was snapping photos and remarking about it. They let my sun take the wheel for a photo and the hostesses were mingling and making sure you were pleased. The narrated tour was amazing....More

We took the noon cruise to Emerald Bay. It was a beautiful day, perfect for sitting outside on the deck. I did not eat at the restaurant, but I can say that the drinks were fabulous. I recommend the Hot Apple Pie adult beverage! The...More

The boat ride itself is good, the journey across the lake is pleasant and the views as you arrive in Emerald bay are lovely. Our trip itself got off to a bad start as one of the tour coaches bringing in people was late so...More

I was not impressed with this boat ride. All it does is cross the lake to California side, circles a cove and goes back across the lake. It was very crowded. The crowds blocked the speakers so it was hard to hear the prerecorded tour...More

We visited in November, so couldn't do most types of activities out on the lake. I was dying to go out on the lake somehow, though, and was thrilled when I found this cruise online! (Most cruises/boats don't operate in the colder months.) All four...More

I took my parents on the M.S. Dixie II and we had a great time. The views are amazing and the audio tour is really interesting. We enjoyed the food served on board - chicken sandwich with fries and a bowl of chili. We went...More
