Wow, what a great little place! If you blink going through Center Ossipee Village, you might miss it. The friendly guy behind the bar gave us samples of three very different types of mead, and they were all wonderful. We’d never had it before and had no idea what to expect. We stayed and I had two flights (hubby is a beer guy) and shared the Ploughman’s Lunch and the pickled carrots. And dessert—the Sundae with fresh berries, vanilla ice cream and chunks of honeycomb. One of the best desserts I’ve ever had. I had to limit my purchase to five different bottles but could have bought one of each one I tried. Two interesting (and awesome) flavors were Thai Basil, Lemongrass and Kefir Lime as well as Fig, Vanilla and Cardamom (a Swedish spice). Delicious! Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

Honestly obsessed with this place. The mead was just unbelievably good. I wasn't expecting much as I've never really loved mead before and was just looking for something to do. We tried flights of mead and they were all just so good it was incredible. We got a cheese board and all the cheese was amazing. At this time they had outdoor seating around a fire pit and it was just so relaxing and nice. The service was great. After we ate my boyfriend and I dropped over $100 just buying mead and stuff to take home as gifts. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere (cute small town but very small) but I would come back here just to go here again. If you're anywhere near here you must go.

Stopped by to pick up my quarterly club mead order, usually I have it shipped and it’s been years since I have gone to the meadery I am so glad we went again. Wonderful atmosphere. Great staff. The Meads are made with different ingredients and different combinations which I find to be unique.

Really liked our visit to the Meadery. Tastings were free and bartender had a lot of knowledge. Bought two bottles to bring back home as gifts; Brother in-law purchased 3.

We have been coming here for years to sample the mead and to take some home. Recently, we have begun to enjoy their food and other offerings, and will not hesitate to stop when in the area.

Just went away with 4 friends for a spa weekend. Wanted to go to a winery one of the days but none were open. We were intrigued by the the idea of a meadery and decided to give it a try. We were surprised at first by the size and location, but still interested. It is a fairly new business started by 2 young men from the area. We had the pleasure of meeting Matt, one of the owners. He answered all of our questions, we tried some very interesting wines and had a great experience. It is definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

My husband and I visited the Meadery for a date day tour. Ash was our “tour guide”. The Meads that they make are delicious, the atmosphere in the store is friendly and welcoming. I bought home a bottle of Blueberry Pie Mead. It is delicious, definitely a dessert Mead. I highly recommended taking the tour, it was very interesting.

This fun little find has quickly become a favorite haunt. Learning about mead has been fun and delicious. The crew is welcoming, helpful and hip without trying too hard. Not only are the meads varied and complex, but the food is surprisingly sophisticated (including oyster special fridays).

My fiance and I stumbled upon this gem on National Mead Day and what an awesome find! The tour of the meadery was very thorough. You could tell how excited and passionate about mead the owners and staff are, it was great! Tons of different flavors to try. Next time we will leave time to try some of their food as well. And there WILL be a next time!

I have never had a Meade, nor did I know much about the process. When I came in I was greeted in a very welcoming manner. I tasted 3 of the Meade wines, all were delicious I choose the honeyberry for myself. The cider is amazing, the perfect flavor and sweetness. Thank you again, you have a wonderful facility!
