Went to this vineyard on a whim, the wine tasting staff was great! He was super knowledgeable without being pretentious, really enjoyed the tasting. Recommend the Malbec and tawny. Would definitely visit again.

Evans & Tate has been a stable drop for me for at least 20 years since they ran a cellar door in the Swan Valley district. The winery at Margaret River is tucked away of the main road and while smaller than some, it a beautiful setting for a visit. The wines keep going from strength to strength and the... More

Thanks for visiting Evans and Tate Cellar Door Elizabeth. Yes we are proudly part of the McWilliams Wines Family and yes those two sweeter styles of wines you mentioned were from NSW due to selling out of our Sweeter styles from Margaret River area. I hope you took advantage of trying our Cellar Door Exclusive wines and our fantastic Chardonnays... More

Wonderful setting and great stock however, they are a big company and the building shows this. A must stop if you're in the region. Taste the tawny and the reds!

This is the home of my favourite everyday Sav Blanc so we always visit this winery when we are in WA. Every time we do I find another little gem and this visit was no exception. A marvellous Rose and a Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 Redbrook. Staff are friendly and knowledgable and make purchasing good wine easy as well as enjoyable.

We were the only ones there but it seemed we were hurried through the tastings. However the wines are okay with a large range.

WE dropped past to find a nice Red wine and of course white wine. We had a very knowledgeable lady who new exactly the best wine to suit. We needed a red for a person we dont know properly and she suggested the Cabernet Merlot. All different kinds of wines to taste. A must to visit

We dropped in on a Friday afternoon for a cellar door tasting. We were welcomed straight away and engaged in casual conversation before moving into tasting the wines. Mark looked after us and he was both entertaining and knowledgable as we sampled the reds in particular. No rush, no hard sell, just a pleasant atmosphere. The building is well set... More

Evans & Tate makes some of the best wines in Margaret Rivers region. I collected and sampled their wines since 1998. I must say their wines have been consistently good. Thank you wmloke13 for being a loyal consumer of Evans and Tate Wines. Unfortunately you timed your second visit to our Cellar Door during Gourmet Escape Weekend. We only temporarily moved our tasting bar for that weekend as we had Rick and Jack Stein cooking that weekend. Happy to let you know we are back in our larger cellar door... More

The great welcoming committee was led by Baci the black Labrador, who enjoys a good pat and a tummy rub. Very friendly staff and pretty good wines to taste. The lady was very knowledgeable about the vines of Evans & Tate and was good at promoting the wines for this region.
