Peaceful snow shoe

We were looking for somewhere close to where we were staying and not too strenuous. Lots of nice wide, flat trails. Peaceful and serene.

I drove above at night and with the moon out it was an exquisite sight. The lake with the misty mountains and moon above was sublime.

We parked by The Cathedral and hiked about 1/2 mile to the lake. The lake is about a mile around. It's a level, well packed path. The day we went was 55 degrees and a little foggy. The views were ethereal! And seeing the mountains. Just a beautiful, wonderful hike.

Beautiful Lake Beach with pure blue water. Paddle boats and I believe kayaks available for rent. The views of mountains surrounding the Lake are just gorgeous. A must go when in the area.

Easy to make a reservation and beautiful drive to Echo Bluff State Park. The growns are well kept and new trees and grass are developing. Stayed in a suite in the log. The 2 bedroom had everything we needed. Dinner at the restaurant had a good variety to choose from. Took a hike on well marked paths. Definitely would go... More

Definitely not beach weather, but we had a nice walk around the park with a nice view of the post-foliage mountains around us. A beautiful lake ,a great walk!

This is a beautiful park with a lake surrounded by a rock bluff. In the fall, the trees are so colorful and reflect into the water for breath taking photos. There is swimming in the summer with lifeguards. There is also a nice large picnic area under line trees with picnic tables and grills. The bathroom and change house is... More

Another great short hike for our toddler -around a small lake, very cute. We were only there for less than 30 min however, so the price you pay to get in is not really worth it. We had paid to park by Diana's baths the day before and had planned daily hikes, but at those prices, daily hikes are not... More
