This is a beautiful park with a lake surrounded by a rock bluff. In the fall, the trees are so colorful and reflect into the water for breath taking photos. There is swimming in the summer with lifeguards. There is also a nice large picnic...More

Echo Lake State Park is a beautiful, romantic, picturesque and well maintained! We were visiting the area and the Echo Lake State park was suggested as a must see, we agree, it is a Must!

There are few beaches in the White Mountains. So, this beach is a real gem in the region. Echo Lake is at the almost north point of Franconia Notch. It has all the facilities you would expect at a state park. There is a bathhouse...More

Great place to take kids to swim. Swimming area is roped off with life guards. Picnic area with picnic table and grills. Shaded real well. Lake also can accommodate kayaks or canoes.

Nice Little Lake in NH. Just stopped by to have a quick look around. Lovely location to spend with family or with your partner. Water is clean and pretty warm (In August).

Nice place to spend your day or at least part of it. Clean, picnic tables and grills, changing rooms. Only part is the graded hill to get to the beach. Tough if you have a lot of stuff to carry.

We walked to the lake from a home we rented on Airbnb. It was off season, so no State park fees applied during the time of our visit.

I would assume yes but not sure. that said, it is not a very big body of water and i would not consider it a great place to kayak. you can walk around the entire lake in probably 20 minutes.
