I love this museum. My husband and I use to go here all the time. always something cool going on. We especially enjoy Rev war days in July.

This is an odd place to visit. The museum house is not very revolutionary and their claim to fame, an original broadside of the declaration is not on display. There are many more interesting, authentic, and informative sites from this era in New England so...More

You've never visited Exeter until you've gone through the Independence Museum. You'll see artifacts from the earliest times when New Hampshire was a colony. Great for one visit or two, probably not more. Th annual reenactments are a great family outing.
