Taking advice from our hotel's suggested activities, we visited Rhododendron State Park for a short family hike. It exceeded our expectations as the walk was very pleasant, and the rhododendrons were wonderful. I think we missed the park while it was in full bloom, but...More

I went here a couple years ago and we went at the right time, unless you hate bees. The flowers were every where and you could smell their sweetness. This year we pressed and went the 4th of July. Very few flowers. This place is...More

I've been here a few times with my two young daughters. It is a real easy walk and they really enjoy it. Its is a micro environment like a mini rainforest. Off season, anytime besides the July bloom, it is very quiet.

Larger than I thought it would be. Cool trails. Natural setting. Unfortunately they were not in bloom yet. Nice short hike.

My daughter and I both love Rhodies and decided to take this trip. It was well worth it.. well thought out hiking path with large stands of these glorious bushes. Cool and calming.

I was the only one in the park on a Friday morning in late January. It was pretty cool running down the main trail with all of the Rhododendrons drooping. I bet is it something else in full bloom. There had been a number of...More

This is a great little park if you are in the area. Would I drive 100 or even 50 miles out of my way for it, probably not. If I was in the area, looking for a hike/walk in the woods or a place to...More
