This state park has what you are looking for if you are nature-deprived in a city! Bridal Veil is an excellent hike to stimulate all your senses and leave your gratified to be alive!

Very nice State park with multiple levels of walking trails. We enjoyed the Basin , the Flume Gorge. Don't waste your time stopping at the Old Man of the Mountains. The rock formation fell off years ago. Not sure why this is even included in...More

We are visiting to view fall foilage. We did not see any on this hike. In spite of that, I recommend that this not be skipped. It is truly amazing and unbelievably beautiful.

Nothing specific, just going up the trails they have there. There's one main trail, and one or two side trails you'll see as you go along.

It is not flat - mainly sloping. We were there in winter when there was snow/ice on the ground, which was a challenge. But in dry weather it is not difficult. I would recommend folks with balance or walking issues use a... More
