Echo Lake Beach is another beautiful place to visit when in New Hampshire. We were there in the fall and would have liked to see more of the fall colors but still a beautiful lake.

Very nice beach on a nice lake. If we had been there earlier and better prepared we may have even had a paddle!

Echo Lake is a nice mountain lake with views of the mountains all around. They have paddle boats there that can be rented.

this is a lovely little spot for some photography especially with the little yellow boats moored by the beach. The only niggle I have is that the washrooms were locked.

They said they enjoyed the beach area. It was quiet and peaceful and the water was cold and refreshing.

This is a truly beautiful spot. We brought our toddler here for the hike around the lake, which was fabulous and perfect for little legs. We went back to swim another day and had a great time. Would definitely go back.

If you want to go in the water, this could be 5 stars. If the fall color were good, this could be 5 stars. We just came for the view and the color wasn't good, so it was only 4 stars. Don't try to go...More

It should be opened - visited many places like this during off season. No barrier for site seeing - but the facilitators won't be there for any questions or help.

A Google search shows that Newfound Lake (183 feet deep) which is to the south of Echo Lake is the deepest lake in NH. Echo Lake is only 10 feet deep at the deepest part.
