Great place for camping

Beautiful state park. We went in October and most of the park had already shut down for winter. I am certain that it is a very busy place during the summer.

Greenfield State Park is a gem of a place...a bit of a drive, but relaxing and picturesque. The staff greet you kindly and you pay a small fee. The parking is free and proximate to the water and the bathroom/changing station. The view across the water is beautiful and the park is very clean. The day we went it was... More

Campsites were nice. But, although they do allow dogs, you are not even permitted to drive to the parking lot for the lake with your dog in the car. Neither are you permitted to leave your dog inside your camper. There is a trail that you are permitted to use with your dog. Otherwise you are permitted to remain at... More

In the hot hazy days of summer, Greenfield State Park is a quiet gem, small and good for families. The cost of admission is just $4 for adults, less for kids and seniors, picnic areas, playground, several small beaches, Otter Lake for swimming and non motorized boating. There are also limited food service. Sun, and plenty of shady areas to... More

This was our first camping trip and we were a group of 4 families. We booked a group camping site and it was the best site ever. The grill was brand new, the place was very clean and well shaded. Kids had lot of fun at the beach. Lot of trails and other fun activities to do. Would definitely come... More

Good place to go camping, the campsites are nice and can't really see the other people at other sites. Other then camping there is a lake for swimming and you can also go there after you check out. Outside of those two things, not much else to do. The hiking is limited so if you want to go for a... More

Eastern Mountain Sports was holding am event which allowed people to checkout Stand Up Paddleboards and Kayaks. The activity was held at the eastern part of the swimming beach. area. This was on a Saturday morning, the end of June. 1.8 miles before the park traffic came to a complete stop. As best as I can figure every car on... More

Love camping here with the family. Very family friendly and the lake is clean. Has shower and bathroom sites.. a little rustic but after all you are camping and enjoying the great outdoors. Close to Mt Monadnock and other things to travel and see in the area..
