A nice collection of trains with some wonderful working layouts. When running, the 1-foot gauge garden railway is fun

My family made a quick stop here for the sole purpose of riding the mini outdoor train. In order to ride the train, you must make a purchase from a select section of merchandise located on two tables at the front entrance of their gift...More

We like model trains and while we probably wouldn't have come here if we weren't expecting a lot of rain, we enjoyed the huge number of examples of cars and rail gauges, as well as the 7 or so working train setups. This is clearly...More

My husband and I travel around the USA and we both love trains. We've been to many train museums but this was by far the very best. They had many different scale cars from many places....Switzerland, Germany, Australia just to name a few. There are...More

Be prepared to spend some time in the museum building that is chock full of exhibits and historical information. If you are looking for a part for your engine, be sure to check out the extensive store. And let the little ones enjoy the outdoor...More

Impressive collection of trains and cars. Everyone there was very friendly. We did get the cautionary warning to keep our children near and that we were responsible for any damage. It's probably an hour activity at best. It's one of those things to check off...More

The gentleman inside the train museum was very nice. They have so many trains set up inside and you can press a button and actually watch the trains go around. Very cool to see what they had. 6$ a person was a little high of...More

We stopped off partly because we were a bit early to go to Storyland, and it was raining. But my dad is a big model railway fan and he was impressed. He spent a while chatting to the owner, who has lived all over the...More
