The parking area is closed and not plowed. However, for a quick walk (0.5 mi), we parked off the side of the highway and hiked to the frozen falls. Absolutely amazing to see!

We had a "hang tag" from the US Forest and Park service, so we didn't have to hassle with parking. The walk down to the base of the falls was easy - someone said 99-steps. There are several observation platforms on the path, so you...More

Park at the Glen Ellis Scenic Area car park (you'll need a pen & change to put in the parking envelope) and then a short walk (0.3 miles) on a fairly easy path leads to these beautiful falls.

This is one of my favorite New Hampshire spots, never experienced it in the fall with the leaves changed to fall colors so this was special.
