It's only April, so the garden was just starting to grow for the season. Not much in bloom yet but water and evergreens made a good background for visiting sculptures and the UNH student art show. The volunteers running the visitors tent at the front were more involved chatting with each other than helping the visitors, so it was hard... More

Bedrock Gardens is a unique spot of extensive landscaped gardens intertwined with the owner's metal sculptures. In the past it has only been open to the public one Saturday per month in the warm weather months. The appearance changes each month as you might expect with a garden. I would highly recommend this spot for a leisurely walk or for... More

This is a private property that is only open to the public on certain occasions (5 times a year or so). It's worth it to go at least once. If you like unique plants, unusual steel sculptures and a bit of a reprieve from the hustle, it is a very nice place to be. The owners do this to show... More

We spent a very lovely few hours perusing the acres of gardens, lawns, woods, ponds, streams and metal sculptures at Bedrock Gardens. We had a map to guide us, but it was really quite simple to find our way around. I particularly loved the metal sculptures made from all kinds of 'junk'. Even the woods where they keep some of... Attending an open house at Bedrock Gardens is like falling into another and more beautiful universe. The plantings, sculpture, and architecture all work together for a truly special aesthetic experience. Unlike anything I'd ever seen before, and I have traveled extensively.

Very pleasant self led walking tour through a few acres of nicely landscaped lawns and gardens. Of course the main attractions are the sculptures that are made out of every day materials from farm products to just about any other kinds of metals that welded together for your enjoyment. It was very peaceful and interesting.

I went to a Garden Party to enjoy walking and talking with a friend. The jazz band was great, the artisans were talented and friendly, the lunch from the Lee Winery was perfect for picnic time. Even bought a gift in the barn gift shop! Check out the website for open weekends. Only downside.....parking is limited.

Beautiful gardens and a lovely escape from the reality of life! I visited on a Saturday afternoon, strolled the gardens, listened to live jazz playing and ate a picnic lunch on a bench by the water feature. What a great way to spend an early summer afternoon! The gardens contain one surprise after another and the sculptures made from old... More

We visited Bedrock Gardens for the first time last weekend, and it was the highlight of the trip to New Hampshire! This property is an absolute gem, and a "must see" for gardeners visiting the area. The naturally beautiful property has been enhanced with a wonderful collection of plantings and sculpture, and the combination is extraordinary. Clearly the owners possess... More
