Lackluster and boring. None of the scenery were worth paying for. The train just passed by bunch of construction sites and ended up stopping at gold resort. If u enjoy looking at bunch of dried river, tiny bridges and trees and plants, then go. Otherwise,...More

I was with my teenage son, he loves train rides, we did 3 others in the area, this was our least favorite, not much to see or do, they do entertain the younger kids though!

My family has been traveling on the Hobo Railroad since it first opened. Over the years we have enjoyed the railroad experience with children, grandchildren and grandparents. This is really a "starter" railroad ride, especially good for the youngest riders. You can get lunch in...More

Our family rode this on a whim while we stopped through town. Our 2 year old was thrilled to be on a train so that made it worth it for us. However be aware the route is not particularly scenic other than crossing a few...More

I must say I was not at all impressed with this train ride tour. The scenery along with the tour guide/conductor was lackluster. The scenery driving into town was much more scenic than that on the train ride. The speaker had a very dull monotone...More

A different type of activity ! Wanted something different and got it! Nice view. Although I though it was going to be going through the mountains. Was nice. Don't recommend the lunch. Was just an ordinary hamburger bun with cold cuts.... but we got a...More

We signed up for a train ride and we got a train ride. It was a nice, relaxing ride - nothing too exciting. We did this on the last day of our trip after strenuous hikes and other activities and it was just what we...More

From the minute you board the 2 car train until it returns to the station passing by field and forest and a few condo units, lets just say we'd hoped for much more. Food, souvenirs and other items were constantly being pushed. at us Lets...More

When we went the train trip was about 20 minutes each way with the event at the North Pole lasting about an hour. That equals 2 hours with boarding, etc. You had a different experience?
