About
Twin Barns Brewing Company opened in July 2019 with the plan to brew and serve proper handcrafted beer in the Lakes Region. Now, you will be able to find our beer just a short distance away from the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in a 1850s antique Meredith barn. We look forward to sharing a beer with you!

Family stopped here while on vacation in Meredith

They had plenty of outdoor seating (because of Covid) so we chose a table underneath a big tent. They also had limited indoor seating.

They had a pretty good beer selection, wine, soda and water.

As far as food for our kids - they didn’t have much. It was Mac and cheese, cheese pizza or grilled cheese. Better hope your child likes cheese!

Now you have to order at the bar and then pick up your food inside the restaurant. They give you a buzzer to let you know when it’s ready. I guess they don’t have any waitstaff outside?

Husband ordered the Bavarian Pretzel ($8) which came with some beer cheese sauce. It was somewhat of a disappointment because it was in pieces instead of a giant pretzel like we were hoping for.

Also ordered the Red Hill Chicken Sandwich ($13) which came with Gouda cheese and peppered bacon. Very tasty but it is very large, like an entire chicken breast on a roll.

I ordered the Down Home Mac n Cheese ($14) which either comes plain or with pulled pork or buffalo chicken. I opted for the pulled pork, which was very good. The pasta on the other hand was different...the cheese had tomato sauce mixed in which gave it a little kick. I didn’t care for it.

The outdoor space is great for adults - they have cornhole, giant jenga, Adirondack chairs, etc. Also porta potties so you don’t have to walk inside.

I’m sure your kids would enjoy themselves running around, but as far as food goes. I would leave them home.

And the BIG negative I would give this place (which could easily be fixed) is that they were doing construction right near the entrance. So when my husband went to retrieve our food, he had to walk by a giant digger moving dirt around and dust flying up near our food. Granted they were all in takeout containers, but still.

I wasn’t really impressed with the food, but I might stop by to enjoy a drink with friends, but without my kids.

It’s a spacious venue, a pretty cool hang out. They have about 9 beers to try. No set number for the flight, you just choose how many you want to try. Each one runs 2.50-4.00 for the sample glass. We really liked the Wheat ale. All of them were good though. Glad to see a good local microbrewery near Lake Winnie.

Lovely place to spend a lovely day/evening. We had great luck with the weather, so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the wonderful beer and yummy food. They had some great igloos that could shield you from the wind. The outside seating was very nice where families could sit together and enjoy each other. Very friendly family oriented kind of stay. The food was excellent for the most part, sorry no vegan food on the menu. We highly recommend the stay at the Twin Barnes Brewery in Meredith New Hampshire. We were there through our membership from Harvest Host and we would recommend Harvest Host to all RV's. The owners of the brewery really made us feel welcome. A Big Thank You to the staff and owners of the Twin Barns Brewery.

Driving up, there is the inside as well as outside areas along with lots of parking. Inside was very spacious with seating at the bar as well as tables. You can see the beer making equipment towards the back of the barn.

The flight sampling is done inside along with full glasses of beer and food. We ordered the buffalo chicken dip, the Winni-Flatbread and the burger. All were delicious and friend who had burger said it was the one of the best he's had!

We tried all the brews, seven at the time, as two were crossed off board. We all enjoyed are favorites and continued with another glass on the outside bar.

We look forward to returning with more friends as it is a great place to get together for food and drinks. There is some wine and hard cider options as well.

We decided to try a local brewery for a Friday evening out. We enjoyed two different brews, an appetizer (humus plate) and a small entree (flat bread) pizza between the two os us. We were satisfied.

Expect mostly shared long table seating.

During a visit there was a local performer (a tad loud for the open space).

The wood shuffle board table was a fun addition to our visit.

After riding the Cotton Valley rail trail we questioned whether it was worth driving back to Twin Barns, a place I saw in the N.H. visitors guide. After an afternoon of bike riding, their White Caps beer, was simply one of the best beers I have ever had. I know that there are many ways to rate a beer, but a big part of it is the day. On a hot, humid, summer day, this fresh, bright, clean tasting beer was exactly what I wanted. Definitely worth driving thirty miles out of our way to have!

I was sadly disappointed with the brewery. There were no descriptions on the beers, no stouts, the food was overpriced, they couldn't make a vegetarian taco by even pulling the pork out of the taco, no fries with a $15 sandwich. I ordered a steak taco which was good, but by time I walked all the way over to the food truck and all the way back, it was not hot... tasty, but again $15 for 2 tacos is overpriced.

How quickly my excitement turned into disappointment when I visited this brewery. At first glance it seem like they had a nice atmosphere and decent menu. I noticed it wasn’t too busy so it seemed like a good time to come out of the rain and have a flight perhaps a pizza flatbread. First thing we noticed is the staff says sit anywhere and when you’re ready order come to the bar. Disregard that because you will Wait at the bar for an eternity. All the while the staff pace back-and-forth like they’re actually doing something but they’re really not I’m just going it’s a different end of the bar playing on the phone and completely ignoring the customers. I must’ve made eye contact with every person there and I only was acknowledged by only one person that really only put in half the effort in helping. And even then I walked out without ordering anything just completely disappointed. And I have incredible patience. Had They been busy or if there’s been any reason for six staff members to completely ignore customers I would’ve taken that into account.
I should make a note that we were the only people standing in the spot where you order. In case anyone reading this is assuming that this is standard bar practice. I love going to breweries because of how enthusiastic the staff gets and sharing their love of beer and telling you all about how well crafted their samples are. For anyone who enjoys beer or anyone that just enjoys being waited on in general, Skip this place you get better service at a 7-Eleven

A great location and fun place to try some of their awesome brews and enjoy some bar food at the same time. While I would have enjoyed having a TV to watch football on, there were lots of games to play and great conversation and people watching. We love to go to breweries and have hit almost every one in Portland, Maine, and this was at least as good as all of them.

Riding in the lakes region we stumbled across this place and decided to pull in. Parked the bikes, walked to the tent and sat down at one of the socially distanced picnic tables and waited, and waited and waited. No service. I walked to the bar, at this point the drizzle had turned into rain, and asked for a waitress, maybe ? I was told that I order here, pay here and get a little buzzer thingy. When my meal is ready I go to the main restaurant and find the pick up window in the back to get my food. That's at least 50 yard walk in the now steady rain and back with my burger. Really.... ? For $14 a burger, there should be a better system than this. 5 Guy's uses the same system and I don't have to walk through the rain. The burger was petty good, but the rinky dink having to walk back and forth was annoying.
