Great theater showing a wide variety of performances year-round. We have seen multiple productions here - everything from Shakespeare to British-style pantomime - there's something for everyone. Their professional summer season is outstanding and throughout the year they have other professional shows and showcase local talent in various community productions which are beautifully produced and high-quality productions. If you're looking... More

A few weeks ago we had the opportunity to be in NH and attend another show. In a previous year we had seen and loved the Tom Sawyer show. This year we saw the Israel Potter show. All three of us love history so we enjoyed all the historical characters and references to events that had happened. We had to... More

Wanted some entertainment while on vacation. Play well done. Venue nice. Don't come here to eat if you want a real meal but do enjoy wine on patio before.

It is an all year round theater and not just a summer theater - provides opportunities to see plays at reasonable prices and with every seat being really quite good. Intimate setting and friendly.

This was my first visit to The Winnipesaukee Playhouse. What a surprise! This place is FANTASTIC!!! A first-rate facility located in a beautiful, tastefully-developed area...everything about this place rates an A+. There is a very nice casual food service, provided by well-respected New Hampshire restauranteur Common Man, available 90 minutes before showtime with comfortable seating both inside and outside. The... More

I am here to perform in a show the opens in August, but have seen their show currently on the stage. The theatre is tucked away in a lovely wooded area. All the public areas, from parking lots to lobby to restrooms to the auditorium itself are lovely, well planned out, and comfortable. As an actor, I also appreciate the... More

On Tuesday night I could tell that the work week was going to be a rough one for my wife and I. So, I reserved us tickets to go see Peter and the Starcatcher. While I was unfortunately right about our work week, the play have us both something to look forward to. The location is a little difficult to... More

I saw "Peter and the Starcatcher" last Thursday evening. The staging was outstanding - so original! And the actors were absolutely fantastic. I think this is an overlooked gem in the Lakes Region. This is a newer theater and seats approximately 200 people. There isn't a bad seat in the orchestra. Don't miss stopping here.
