This is a great historical house with a very interesting story and amazing setting. Get the story and overview from trained docents then you are free to do a self guided tour of the house and grounds. There are plenty of staff in the house...More

We love to bring company to special places so we visit this place many times during the season. Sometimes we wait a while But the beautiful grounds are very nice and the food and service is good. The pictures are keepsakes.

I am not sure. At the main gate I paid for admission to go and tour the castle. My son and his wife wanted to hike Mt. Roberts which is also on the grounds and I paid for them to tour the castle but they never got back from... More

I didn't see accommodations, it's more like a time capsule at the castle. They have a restaurant, gift shop, hiking path and a stable for horseback riding. It's close to Lake Winnipesaukee, we stayed in Laconia at Jim... More
