A must stop and see country store.

In the original old building, this quaint country store has it all. There is even a museum up stairs! What fun you'll have poking around at all the unusual and current items. Plan on spending a bit of time here as there is so much to see. The staff are friendly and able to answer any question you may have. So fun!

I recently visited this charming country store with my grand daughter. We spent nearly an hour browsing around. There are so many unique gifts and toys to choose from.

Great old time country store with a little of everything!
Oct. 2019
This place is just fun to visit, we've been a couple times. You could easily spend an hour or so looking at all the stuff in the store and checking out the museum (upstairs). The place is huge inside and packed wall to wall with stuff - from the kitschy to the locally crafted nice stuff, food (cheese, maple syrup, etc) and so forth. There is a fairly large selection of wrought iron items for the home, as well as things like cut nails! The museum upstairs had some very interesting items and historical documents to look over - we found it very interesting.

I'd highly recommend a stop here if you are in the area - it has about anything you could be looking for from food items, to clothes, to kitchen items, to toys, etc. Very cool store.

Everything you didn’t know you needed !

I’ve been going here every time I travel through NH since I was a kid . They have everything you didn’t know you needed ! lol it’s and old building with many levels so their is lots of stairs and steps , you can get lost ! They have lots of kitchen gadgets ! Lots of everything ! Cast iron , penny candy , jams and jellies and other canned goods . Clothing , Moccasins , spices , old fashion pickles in a crock ! I’d say it’s more of a tourist trap as the prices are rather expensive . But it’s a cool store to check out if your in the area . Oh and the rest room is outside and parking is behind the store .

Okay, but not a favorite
Oct. 2019
The building is a true antique with slightly uneven floors and rooms that flow into each other. With the holiday weekend crowds, it was difficult to get around. There was some lovely jewelry made with leaves and pine cones covered in silver or gold, and I was happy to find a clearance room where I got a nice T-shirt. Regular prices are quite high. The big disappointment for bus travelers was the lack of indoor rest rooms. The "facilities" consisted of a highly unattractive porta-potty at the back of the parking lot.

When I lived in Maine and drove to NH or VT I always stopped by the country store. It’s fun to wander around the store. There’s so much interesting things to look at. Love the old building. You can find some very unique items here.

Lots of stuff, goofy stuff, kind of over priced stuff, but it's fun to walk through and decide you Don't need any more junk.

Adorable country store that nearly transports you back in time with tons penny candy and pickles in wooden barrels! The store is huge with all different items for sale (home, clothing, food, etc) and even has a little museum upstairs. Kid friendly! A fun little stop in Moultonborough!

Something in this old country store for everyone...unique gifts, foods, drinks, and merchandise. Many unique items that can't be found anywhere else....besides the usual tourist stuff. And visit the upstairs museum....fascinating.
