It's uncanny how the two primary Rock cliffs in North Conway have almost identical twins in Yosemite. So if Cathedral Ledge's twin is the Cookie Cliff, then Whitehorse Ledge's twin is Glacier Point Apron. With almost identical style rock climbing - slabiliscious - White Horse is a friction game. But don't worry, nothing here is harder than 5.9. On the... More

Climbed a 5.5 with my family on the far right side of the slabs. Super fun. Not much pro. Make sure you know how to trad climb here.

I do a lot of hiking, maybe I was having a bad day, but this trail wasn't maintained and hard to follow. I got to a point where I spent 10 minutes trying to find the next tree marked with blue paint and never found it. So went back down to echo lake and ran around it a few times.... More

Awesome views starting from the Resort looping up to White Horse ledge, then to Cathedral Ledge, down to Echo lake and back to the resort. If you like walking/hiking, this is a must. Took some great pictures to remember the trip.

Very pretty area. We enjoyed watching people rock climbing during the day as we enjoyed our day at Echo Lake State Park.

Being a local I have hiked this trail over 500 times. I usually start from Echo Lake and climb up the Bryce Path to a junction with the White Horse Trail. Parts are steep, but short. From there proceed up the White Horse Trail to the top. The loop takes you back down on the White Horse Trail. Most people... More

White Horse Ledge is located in Echo Lake State Park and it is a great place to visit - you can hike, swim, rock climb, or just enjoy the view. I've hiked neighboring Cathedral Ledge and have rock climbed the face of White Horse Ledge.

This is where I first was roped up, age 6. A great spot for new climbers, those wanting to learn, and as you move to the left, more and more fun terrain. It can get busy, so show up early.

Best climb/descend trail in the area, that is legal for bikes. Great views atop and a bonus decent....
