If you make it to the top of Mt. W you will go inside. Check out the Weather Discovery Center. Hands on for kids to enjoy. $2 to get in. Worth it. Learn where the highest wind speed was recorded. .

Good place to learn about how weather on Mt Washington is monitored year round. I learned a lot and am respectful of the employees to work at the top of the mountain.
