As a collector and dealer, I constantly visit Antiques & vintage shops throughout the world. Bowerbird is one of the very nicest shops I've ever seen. The layout, displays, store flow, atmosphere and of course the owners are all incredible. There's a terrific selection of vintage and antiques to please every shopper--furniture, ephemera, unique decorative antiques, tools, books, you name... More

A really nice shop to wander through and see very unusual antiques and glassware. The displays are terrific and inspire you to change things up. They also have the nicest plants set in terrariums and n display. It is set in the center of a small shopping area that is fun to browse!

This must be my favorite place in Peterborough. Items are a little eclectic yet useful, as shop owners often show (and tell) you through their clever displays and groupings. It's not packed wall-to-wall yet there's plenty to look at and buy, and, again owing to the artful display, I am drawn into corners, drawers, shelves and so forth. Bowerbird always... More

I love, love, love Bowerbird. Even if I'm low on cash I still stop in to enjoy the eclectic and unique displays and offerings. Don't get me wrong, not everything is out of range. The pricing really runs the gamut. Its difficult to pinpoint the style of their offerings which is what I love about it the most. If I... More

If you love to shop/browse for antiques, collectibles, and rustic furniture, don't miss Bowerbird. It's great fun to search every inch of the store. Not everything is antique - they carry beautifully crafted dining tables made to order, and they sometimes carry unique totes. Very eclectic variety.

Going to this shop is always a great time. They have tons of unique treasures and lovely terrariums with fun modern elements thrown in. The staff is attentive, and friendly. Prices on some items tend to be really steep, but it's a high end store and even if you're just walking around you'll enjoy yourself.

Seriously, if I had a bigger car I would of definitely got the round table as you entered. So much great stuff. What I liked the most about here was the ability to get around stuff and see what it might look like in my home. I hate it when things are stacked on top of each other and you... More
