NO MOOSE TO BE FOUND ANY MORE! The place we stayed, when making reservations said that there were moose to be seen. No there were NO moose at all. Went in the 90ies and moose all over the road. There are many factors why there are no moose to be seen. 1.) Because of the road to be known to... More

Stayed at Deer Mountain Campground. Spent our day times hiking, sightseeing, climbing mountains, and enjoying the breathtaking views around all the lakes. Just the most amazing place.

Pittsburg is flat out my happy place. If you want to unplug, relax and take in the natural beauty you cannot go wrong. There is so much to do.. Snowmobile, ATV, prime fishing, fantastic hiking... Also, you are almost assured to see Moose on Route 3 (Moose Alley).

This is quintessential New Hampshire - quiet, remote, and beautiful. There is a lot to do if you are into the outdoors. This is not a theme park so you have to make your own fun. We did the boundary hike at the U.S. - Canada border. My daughter (age 14) loved jumping over the international line at various points... More

I love the views of the lakes, anytime of day is more beautiful than the next and the lakes have an array of inlets to explore.

A great place to get away from it all! We visit frequently in the summer and enjoy relaxing, hiking, and swimming. Just spent a week there and rented a boat for 55/day- it was the best day yet. We took the boat all around 1st lake, saw moose, birds, and all the beautiful houses along the shoreline. We also stopped... More

If you need a place to go to unwind and relax, Pittsburgh is the place to be. We stayed at Ramblewood Cabins on the First Conneticut Lake. What a great place to stay! We saw moose, deer, red Fox, Fisher Cat, hiked, kayaked and the list goes on. There is never any hurry and if you prefer to relax and... More

I vacationed the 2nd week of July 2015 with my 2 son's in New Hampshire and stayed in the Lopstick Loon's Nest cabin on Back Lake. The cabin was fantastic and the lake fishing was great! We learned to fly fish on this trip too, something I have been wanting to do for years. Our instructor and guide was Greg... More
