Read other reviews and my title says it all . Very clean, clear water, sunny and shady, canoe and kayak beach launch, nice view of surrounding hills, grills allowed, friendly staff who maintain the park, and usually not crowded, which is good, because it is a small park, the reason why I gave it a four star rating . Not sure... More

This is one of the great State Park areas to take your children. The water is clean, the bathrooms are clean, it is easy to find and there will be many other families to share the fun.

My wife and I love the Wolfeboro, New Hampshire area. This quiet family beach, not far from the village, is a great place to set up a couple of chairs and relax, read and snack. The beach is pretty good too...

Great location, picnic tables, charcoal grilles (BYO charcoal), nice sandy beach with gradual slope, shady & sunny areas. Inexpensively priced, too! Close-in parking.

WSP is located a short distance from beautiful Albee Beach. Albee has sand, sun, shade, picnic tables, mountain and island views, clear water and is absolutely free. Another free beach is located on Clark Road, off Rte 28 (almost across from Huggins Hospital) in Wolfeboro. This beach boasts a more active view because it is on Wolfeboro Bay. Many boats... More

Off the beaten track little state park with direct access to a quiet lake for swimming and lots of picnic tables. Small tho very well kept, clean and pretty setting. Lots of trees for shade and open areas by the lake for sunbathing. Very small swim area and rather crowded by the beach area. Not many amenities, but great for... More

you are still technically in wolfeboro, however, on gov wentworth highway (very secondary road) in the outskirts...which is minus the traffic and hustle and bustle of the wolfeboro village heartbeat. Lake Wentworth , fortunately does not receive as much attention as Winni.........but it is huge, clean and exquisitely set amidst the n.h. forests. a perfect lake for swimming and boating... More

If you're in the Wolfeboro Area, and you're hot, this is the place to cool off. Local color. Warm water and real sandy bottom.

It is such a beautiful spot. Water was pretty calm and the perfect temperature for swimming. It has facilities such as restrooms & barbecuing areas with lots of picnic tables. It had a nice family atmosphere. I really enjoyed messing around in the water, though a tall person would be able to stand throughout the entire swimming area. It was... More
