While the park is small for a state park the highlight is the incredible Barnegat Light. Be sure to climb to the top and check out the views of it and the seabirds from out on the jetty.

Barnegat Lighthouse is great! Wonderful views from the top! Went on a Monday; would have been nice if the visitors center was open. Still an enjoyable experience!

Sorry, I just saw your question, I would have to say I doubt it would be open as it is a state holiday. Though you can likely walk through the park.
