We loved our visit to this lighthouse!! It was actually open. We walked all 277 steps to the top. We however, did not go out on the walkway around the top because it was just to windy for us. It was an easy walk. GREAT...More

My opinion, this is a great time of year to go visit the lighthouse. There were very little people there. So there's plenty of room to go up and down all the stairs. It didn't cost anything to explore this attraction. There are 217 stairs...More

I've climbed this lighthouse four times. It's an easy climb with metal stairs. The views of LBI are great. It's also nice at night, walking along the concrete path on the jetty looking out over the inlet and ocean under a full moon. The beach...More

In the East Coast, this is the only mysteriously fabulous place where you will find numerous sea ducks on a perfect winter day. Apart from ducks, Lighthouse itself and the information center are nice and friendly place to hang around. It’s a small park but...More

While the park is small for a state park the highlight is the incredible Barnegat Light. Be sure to climb to the top and check out the views of it and the seabirds from out on the jetty.

Sorry, I just saw your question, I would have to say I doubt it would be open as it is a state holiday. Though you can likely walk through the park.
