Park provides poop bags - PLEASE USE THEM! Tow path and paved paths to the waterfall and through the park along the Raritan River. Pleasure to stroll with dog and families, kids and adults on bikes, walking. Nice blend of people and nature.

Duke Island Park offers much all year around. For Christmas the Farmers Market featured treats, wines, breads, pastries and more. Beautiful grounds to walk along trails or sit and relax in the scenery.

Go fishing a few times a year there and almost always catch things, you can picnic, there is play area's, trails for walking and been to some sport events there. On a nice day a good place for outdoor activities.

Duke Island Park is one of our favorite park to walk and bike with our grandkids (young ones included as the paved path is easy for them). During July-August the music events on Sunday nights are nice to join. I don't think there a month...More

The best thing about this park is the free summer shows put on by the county. Bring your own beach chairs or blankets. Picnics allowed. Rest room buildings provided. Also known for the July 4th fireworks. Check out the Somerset County website to plan ahead.

Been here a few times. Once just to have the little one play, another time to watch a movie. They have other events that go on. Well maintained. Its a good park

Have been going to this park since I was a little girl. I love this park. It's quiet, well maintained. Bathrooms are far though they do have port a pottys near by.

Absolutely! My wife runs through the park. It's a great run and an easy circle to run with no hills. I would recommend it with no worries since the park rangers are always out....plus everyone else.
