The lighthouse is a no brainer for families or a couple. The view is amazing, and the surrounding area has plenty other options for you to do. Getting your cardio in is an added bonus.

We just stopped by to see the exterior because there were working on the interior. Pretty location and the trails surrounding it are good too. This was a part of our drive when we hit the WW2 watch tower and Sunrise Beach. I'd go back to tour the interior.

We like to visit lighthouses around the country. Cape May's is in the Cape May Point Park, which is a great birding area. There is a very large parking lot that serves both the lighthouse and the park. When it is open you can walk up the 200+ steps, and visit the Oil House visitor center and museum.

The Light House is closed during the week for painting but the Visitor Center and Museun are open. The Light House is impressive to look at from the outside. The visitor center and museum are small but fascinating. There are elevated walkways that you can view the water from and the World War II Bunker, you can also access the... More

The 199 steps almost did me in... It was a cold day but clear and could see for miles. Worth the climb as a result.

My Mum and I visited the location of the lighthouse, but we did not climb it. We got there pretty late in the evening. But the place is breathtakingly beautiful. The beach is simply mesmerizing. Getting to see the wildlife was really nice. I would love to go back there and spend more than a few minutes. Perhaps this summer.... More

You can visit the lighthouse when open, but the area around it is even more special. it is just off the beach and very nice walking paths through the birding area are just off the parking lot. Nice photos of the lighthouse from the beach, too!

The lighthouse is an amazing place! You can climb to the top, or just take pictures. You can also hike, go hawk watching, or visit an animal museum. Definately reccomend it!
