We took a family trip to Cape May and finished our day with a trip to the top of the Cape May Lighthouse. It provided amazing panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, The Cape May Bird Sanctuary, the ruins of an old army radar base on the beach and views of Cape May. There are other attractions on location including... More

We took a nighttime tour of this beautiful lighthouse. Going to the top on a clear night you can see all the lighthouses lit up down the eastern shore. It's quite a hike to the top but worth it if you can make it.

We dropped by to see the area and ended up spending a couple of hours. the beach area was beautiful especially seeing parts of old military fortifications, the museum was quaint and informative and the staff were extremely friendly. plenty of parking, the only drawback is it is a non-swimming beach.

Everyone knows about the light house. The park offers many stunning vistas of a bird sanctuary, the water and of course the Light House. It is really a nice place to visit.

We visited the lighthouse on Jan 1 during a NYE trip to Wildwood. There is lots of parking but I'm sure in the summer it fills up quick. There are lots of ramps to the beach and museum to make it easy for people with strollers or wheelchairs. The information in the bottom of the lighthouse is very interesting. We... More

Nice museum and visitor center. Lighthouse we missed the tour by 10-minutes. The museum of shore critters was fun to visit.

There may be lots of similarities to other lighthouses designed by Gen. Meade but you'll never get this view anywhere else. Please come back and climb. More

We walked to the lighthouse from our hotel. It was easy to find and you can see it from a far distance. We were here in the off-season, so that could have been part of the problem, but the lighthouse was closed and was only open for 2 days/week (which we weren't around for). Beach and grounds are nice, but... More

During the late Fall and Winter, our hours are curtailed. It's difficult for our keepers and frequently lonely. It's best to check the website for hours before visiting. More
