Entertaining local theatre

We went to see the Neil Coward play Blithe Spirit. There were lots of laughs and the cast did a very good job. My only comment would be that it was longer than necessary.

I booked tickets to the production of BLITHE SPIRIT at the Cape May Stage for September 2014. I expected an average production (given the cost of the tickets vs a Broadway show). Both my wife and I were very surprised... we felt it was a top-notch production. Excellent cast. The facility is a an old converted church they completely redid... More

we attended the play Blithe Spirit, in what seemed to be a small church converted into a theater of 130 or so seats. Quite good.

Play was witty and well-acted. Purchased senior (reduced-price) tickets, which were all upstairs and no elevator. Tough on those older bones.

We planned a four-night Labor Day weekend in Cape May specifically so we could go to "Blithe Spirit" at Cape May Stage on that Saturday night--it is one of my wife's favorite plays and this was her birthday weekend. What a nice present it turned out to be. First of all, this is an intimate theater; I doubt its capacity... More

This amazing little theatre is a gem that we found only after several years of vacationing in Cape May. Plays are beautifully produced and skillfully directed, feature fine equity casting and noteworthy sets

Loved it! This is a very small and quaint theatre. We went there for the first time and saw Noel Coward's "Blithe Spirit". Enjoyed it immensely and plan on returning to the Cape May Stage. The acting was quite professional and one of the actors was from Broadway.

Each year for the past three years, we have visited Cape May Stages and have never been disappointed. The show selection is always appealing and the theater itself is extremely comfortable. We can't wait to see what next summer's show will be.

Have been going to the Cape May Stage since the early 70's when it was just starting out. No cushy seats, AC, sound equipment. It has evolved nicely since then. Never disappointed in the show. Great value in Dinner & Show info on their website.

We come here to see all the plays...and have for years! It's a little bit of Broadway right in our neck of the woods. Roy Steinberg and his team do a Magnificent Job! Congrats and keep up the great work! We love your theater!
