While a play consisting of actors speaking into microphones as if radio may sound boring, this was far from it. We were here during Sherlock Holmes Weekend in November, and we added this add to the overall experience. The quality of the acting here was...More

Fantastic Theater at Cape May. Highly recommend. We saw "A Year in the Trenches" a new story about WW I. Excellent. Wonderfully professional talented artists portrayed various roles. Intimate theater; easy to get pulled in emotionally into the story. This was a new show; very...More

Attended a recent performance of A Year In The Trenches by the East Lynne Theater group. The cast did an excellent job reliving the history of WWI. The First Presbyterian Church is a great venue. No assigned seats but the setting is relatively small so...More

This Actors Equity theater company performs in a church which is rather unique. The company specializes in American authors. We saw "Ah, Wilderness" by Eugene O'Neil. I did not expect to find high quality live theather at the beach.

An American Classic. Lovingly directed by Gayle Stahlhuth, "Ah Wilderness "is a love letter to ideas, freedom, young love and the American Way. A sweet satire, and we loved it! Can't wait to see the fall production .

A classic from 1932. East Lynne Theater delivers a gem of theatrical history; that is totally relevant today. Snappy direction and a spot on cast make this another ELTC hit.

East Lynne is my favorite theatre company in Cape May. They have a mission unlike anyone else's--they do plays from America's past, or plays about America's past. BIOGRAPHY, by S.N. Behrman, is such a play---a big hit on Broadway in 1932. I read it a...More

Every year, we visit Cape May and take in the latest show at East Lynne Theater Company. Dracula was wonderful. Gail, the artistic director, adds her touch to every show she produces. A great time is always had by all!
