This is a wonderful place for families and kids. The zoo is part of a larger park so you can picnic and play on the playground equipment and really make a day of it. As everyone says, the zoo and parking are free. I loved that the zoo was easily walkable. There are so many trees that the walkways are... More

This is a smaller zoo, but my friends and I had a great time seeing all of the animals. There is no fee to go in, but I made a point to throw a few dollars to the man at the gate collecting donations.

This zoo has lots of shade! It's free to get in, but you should give a donation so they can remain open..... So please be generous! Food is okay, and the price is not bad.

Where can you go for free to a zoo-no admission or parking fee? The zoo is wonderful with no bars or fences to look through. My 4 grandkids beg us to go there every time they visit. They love the petting farm, especially.

My family of 13 went to this zoo. We parked, ate our lunch at a picnic table, then walked the zoo for at least 3-4 hours. A free zoo? VERY clean? Loved it. Would go back again and again.

Good place to visit, decent selection of animal displays/habitats. Dress comfortably with good walking shoes. Free but they accept donations.

I absolutely love this zoo! It is a small zoo but it has a wide variety of animals and the environment is really nice. There are wooden walkways out into fields where the giraffes and zebras are out roaming and there are bison too. We were there this past weekend and the lion and the lioness were out and right... What a pleasant surprise. The Cape May Zoo is clean, has plenty of shade and benches and just a very enjoyable time. Also, no charge only donation at entrance. Highly recommend visiting.

It's not the biggest zoo, it doesn't have the biggest selection of animals, but it is well-kept, has a lot of free parking, and is large enough with enough exhibits to spend the better part of the day there with family. All for the low cost of nothing (it's free).

My wife and I were surprised at the quality of the food available. For being at a zoo, you would expect to pay a lot more, but not really.
