You're at the shore...so there's that, and the great shopping and restaurants, but what if it's a little chilly or the kids need a change of scenery? This place is fantastic! Admission is pay what you want and they have all of the key animals and then some. The zoo is large, clean, and easy to navigate. The only downsides... More

What a great zoo! It's free and has a large variety. My favorite section was African wildlife, where you walk on an elevated boarded pathway. it feels like a nature walk and literally like you are entering into a different world when you see the Giraffe enclosure appear. Lots of security walking around. We spent a good afternoon checking everything... More

My husband and I had a lovely day at the zoo. The zoo was moderate in size, we took our time walking around and it took us about three hours to get around. The zoo was set up very nicely, some of the walkways were elevated as we walked through some wooded areas. We looked down and saw several white... More

A free zoo that is the best deal in Cape May County. This is no little out of the way place to stop it is a great day for the family. With parks and ball fields plus the zoo make it a point to go there.

My family and I have been visiting this park & zoo since the early 90s, and it just keeps getting bigger and better managed. The park was wonderful for families with children, and the zoo will please any animal or bird lover. We liked all the little stand-up cut-outs where you could get your picture taken, the wonderful new areas... More

Kids will love it - the animals and the playgrounds. Worth the trip, even if some reconstructions is under way.

Love the Cape May Zoo - very educational and so well maintained. Love seeing all the animals from the small to big ones. They are redesigning some of the habitats so it will be that much better the next time we go.

This is a wonderful place for families and kids. The zoo is part of a larger park so you can picnic and play on the playground equipment and really make a day of it. As everyone says, the zoo and parking are free. I loved that the zoo was easily walkable. There are so many trees that the walkways are... More

This is a smaller zoo, but my friends and I had a great time seeing all of the animals. There is no fee to go in, but I made a point to throw a few dollars to the man at the gate collecting donations.

This zoo has lots of shade! It's free to get in, but you should give a donation so they can remain open..... So please be generous! Food is okay, and the price is not bad.
