Lots of parking and easy access make this a nice beach to visit. We were ther in September on a weekday so the crowds were light. Wide sandy beach with a few interesting sights to see

This refuge had well-cared-for walking paths through gorgeous fields and meadows and around fresh water lakes and ponds populated by swans and geese. As it was a rainy day, we had hundreds of acres to ourselves pretty much so the peace was palpable.

You should put this park on your "to do" list. Nice little museums and nature trails. Learn a bit about the area. Well worth your time. Oh . . . don't forget to check out the lighthouse!
