Our boy scout troop participated in an educational workshop hosted by NJ Sea Grant Consortium. The program ran from 10 AM to 3 PM on a Saturday with a generous lunch break. Our host taught us about how Sandy Hook was formed, what types of plants and animals live there, and the importance/relevance of the bay/estuary and salt marshes to... More
