My initial response was a low wind knocking WOW! Set against the NYC skyline is the Empty Sky Memorial - I recommend seeing this along with the Teardrop Memorial - We visited in December 2017 and the morning was crisp - One of The beams...More

Felt very sad after going there reading the names of people mentioned there. You can go and stay there for minutes can be avoided also. But a memory in the for those people who lost their lives here. But surely the nearby area you can...More

It is Impressive and it makes you reflect on the events that shaped our great Country. It's a great place to take guests. You don't think about the absence of the towers until you attend here. It is humbling. God Bless America!

Really really bad sculpture. What a poor attempt to remember the fallen. This should of been a piece of art that would be memorable and pay homage.

Ornate, grandiose memorials are very nice, but they sometimes distract from the people and events they memorialize. Empty skies is the antithesis of ornate. It's exactly where it belongs, it silently directs your gaze to where it belongs, it's simple and to the point, and...More

The memorial is very well designed and worth a few minutes. It features a steel beam that visitors can touch. The layout faces the tower site and memorial walls form towers when you step back. Kudos to the designers. Located within Liberty Park providing spectacular...More

This simple memorial consists of two walls lined up to frame where the Twin Towers would have been. There is a similar memorial on Staten Island. The walls are inscribed with New Jersey citizens who were killed in the attack.

Yes, there is a free area to park for a limited time to park which is enough for the memorial. If you want to go to Ellis and/or Liberty Island you will need to park in the paid lot.

Very accessible parking lot is close to the memorial. We got confused and paid to park in the wrong lot. Drive past the pay lot to memorial parking. The views on a clear day are quite something.
