Calm, slight breeze and scenic. Looking at the New York skyline and taking pictures on a nice day. My grand daughter enjoyed it by trying to run me ragged.

Loved just strolling around and watching the view of Manhattan. The kids loved playing in the park and chasing the geese. The most exciting were the fireflies we saw in the bushes.

Got to Jersey City late in the afternoon. Grabbed some takeout and had dinner on a park bench. Enjoyed watching the sunset and the lights come on in Manhattan. Absolutely gorgeous!! While you're there, catch the Empty Sky Memorial.

I think you can walk along the promenade and see New York. You won't be able to enter the park, I suppose. Not sure about the statue, but you can see it from a few points when driving around.
