A beautiful walk to enjoy an incredible view of the skyline. Lots of space to walk & enjoy the scenery. A bonus was the free parking.

Great views of the NYC skyline and the statue of liberty. Great climbing frames and picnic areas, still parking, and water fountains need to be upgraded.

Great park with plenty of amenities. They have a separate kids and picnic area. Hiking and bike trails that are easily accessible. The Skyline is awesome of NYC. I would suggest going at night to really appreciate the views

Liberty State Park is perfectly situated to see the NYC Skyline and East River entry into NYC bay. The lark has good parking facilities at both ends. A walkway along the Hudson River allows you to stroll through marshes filled with wildlife. As you walk,...More

The best views of the NYC skyline aren't even in New York...but here! A couple business partners and I decided to walk around this park to kill some time, and I'm so glad we did! Not only can you see the entire NYC skyline, but...More

Although it was cold we decided to take a drive to the park to see Statue of Liberty. We also saw the sun setting in the city. Within the park is also a tribute to 911. The silver walls are massive. It was worth the...More

This attraction was the beginning of journeys into the American interiors. The numerous lines represented different destinations where immigrants went. This was the final stage after processing. Thus it is important to visit the rest of the attractions, i.e Ellis Museum, and Statue of Liberty....More

You might have to call the Liberty State Park office for reservation and registration for the picnic area, no fee. I don’t think they can accommodate 500 people though. I believe maximum is 50 people.

Absolutely you can take pics of the skyline without walking. There are places a car can stop for a few minutes. Enjoy...its beautiful.
