Great place to see a play. Saw Old Jews telling Jokes. It runs thru January 3, 2016. A Fun night out for many laughs. Cast was fabulous! Best way to start the New Year! Theater very quaint and comfortable. Not a bad seat anywhere!

Have never been disappointed with the George St Playhouse. The stadium seating gives a good view of the stage from almost any seat. The plays that they pick are almost every time a fantastic script, and the set design usually rivals the finest on Broadway....More

You do not have to go in to NYC to see a great play just go once to George Street and you will be pleasanly surprisd!

The productions are done very well. You feel that you are part of the show. Many productions have gone onto Off Broadway Theater. Easy to get to, safe, and a very gracious staff.

Over years, we've had subscriptions, then been away, then come back for an occasional single play -- and we've never been less than delighted that such small-scale theater can be so good, so intelligent, so amusing, and so challenging.
