The park is great for everyone. There is a children's play area, miles of walking trails and in Spring, the park comes alive with greenery. The cherry blossoms are second to none. There are more trees than in Washington, DC.

Drove through Branch Brook Park on Friday to check out the foliage. At lunch time I stopped at Tony’s Hotdog truck to get a couple of “dogs” with onions and a soda. The food had changed but nonetheless they were still filling!

The park is huge. There is plenty of parking. The cherry blossom festival is held here every year. You'll get a lot of great pictures. There is a tennis court, baseball fields and lake.

You don’t need to walk a lot to see the cherry blossom. Try to park near lake street or atleast at the cross of lake street and park avenue. This way your walking distance to the cherry trees is close but it takes a good... More
