This was a fabulous find - the lighthouse built around a Victorian home. The docent was very distracted and it's a self-guided tour with books. The gardens outside the home are award winning and very beautiful to meander - those are open to the public....More

The lighthouse has been beautifully restored, with interesting exhibits about the keepers and their families. And the gardens are gorgeous. The staff are to be commended for undertaking this enormous project.

We've been members of the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse for a few years now. While we visit at least a few times a year and bring adult guests, our last visit was the first time we were able to bring our granddaughters (8 & 10 years...More

What a beautifully restored keepsake is this lovely lighthouse! Words can't describe how special an experience you will have! Wow, the entire building and grounds are gorgeous! Be sure to capture the ocean views from the third floor!

This is a wonderful lighthouse with great views. The best part for me was the gardens. They are awesome and very peaceful especially in the early morning right after sunrise. It is a wonderful place to sit and think!!

Age 12 and under is 3.00. Over 12 is 6.00 to tour the lighthouse. The gardens and gift shop are free. The gardens lead out to a boardwalk with benches to sit and enjoy the view
