A beautiful spot in North Wildwood, NJ. The lighthouse is really interesting (if you are in to lighthouses) and a fine example of combined keeper's quarters and light tower. The real treat is the gardens. They are beautiful and a real treat.

It took a lot of folks to preserve/restore all the history of this lighthouse and there is plenty of photo's and things to read. The staff is great and one can take their time reading about the history and looking at how they rescued folks...simply amazing a must to see on your list. Many local companies help to keep this... Toured the lighthouse during the festival, really enjoyed the history lesson on the lighthouse. The ladies working there were very knowledgeable and friendly. The food at the festival was fantastic.

You will love walking around the Hereford's lovely gardens. Follow the path back to the sea wall, and enjoy a simply *gorgeous* view. Also, if you are into watching for dolphin fins, this is the one spot that you are nearly *guaranteed* to see the pods popping up over and over again. Definitely stop by if you are in Wildwood.
