With its quaint storefronts, amusement rides and Music Pier, Ocean City is everything you'd expect from the real Jersey shore. This family-friendly town boasts a two-mile boardwalk dotted with amusements, pizza parlors, and seaside stores.

This is a long boardwalk with lots of stores, restaurants, and amusement parks. The boardwalk is wide too so there's a lot of room to walk around. And of course, like every boardwalk, it's next to the beach.

Great location for family vacation. Remember to bring your booze as this is a dry island. Boardwalk and rides are some of the best one in region. Beach is cool but it could be a bit cleaner.

Great for shopping as well as ocean gazing. Family friendly. Fun area with rides and games. No bars or drunks which is perfect for families or those who just want a peaceful enjoyable experience.

More than enough choices for families and teens of all ages. Crowded but not so much that you can't walk...and a weird juxtaposition with the ocean on one side and commercial use on the other

The surroundings are great and a good location for younger kids with an amusement park on each side of the boardwalk. Lots of ice cream and water places and local activities that the city offers.

There's a place a block or two off the boardwalk called Spadafora's Seafood. Excellent food. I had lobster and my mother had scallops. Nice wait staff too. I highly recommend it.
