We happen to be in Phillipsburg NJ visiting the Wine Train and found out that the Phillipsburg Railroad Historians were having an open house on this Saturday. So we went over to visit. Parking was free and plentiful, the volunteers of this group were welcoming...More

A bunch of "historians" with railroad equipment that hasn't been restored or touched in over 20 years. It's sad to see such history rust and rot away. Even worse that they are a very nasty group that do not like outside help.

Believe it or not, this is a FREE experience. The small guage train takes visitors for free rides up and back through the train yard,

It's is wonderful, my grandson and I love riding the train we have attended most all the excursions and plan on the polar express this year
