Have seen many concerts at Count Basie, and have always marveled at the transmittal and perception of sound in this architecturally pleasing building since refurbishment. From local performing arts to top billings, both seat and sound can not be beat. Last visit was Chicago's 50th...More

WOW...what a great place to see a show. Very intimate venue, only 1500 seats. We sat in the loge, with an isle seat. Great view of the stage. Excellent acoustics. Easily accessible.

The Count Basie Theatre has been a great place to see live shows for years. Recently renovated, it's small, good acoustics, and brings in great acts. You have local bands of great studio musicians, headliners, rock and roll, jazz, classical, plays, musicals. Easy to get...More

This is a popular theater for concerts and shows. This was my first visit to see a show and the theater is very nice inside. The show was called ABBA Mania and yes it was all the songs of the Swedish group ABBA. A very...More

Still a great place to see a show. Has the atmosphere of an old fashioned movie palace, but great acoustics and sightlines. Find something you'd like to see, and see it there instead of Some soulless amphitheater.

Great location and refurbished venue, large stage and great acoustics in mid area of stalls seating. Not enough toilet facilities, small bar, no cloak room which was a pain in winter. Recommended venue.

The Count Basie Theater in Red Bank, NJ, was the perfect venue to see a musical show. Seating was ample, the acoustics were great and the old style and elegance were still in tact from years ago.

I don't think you will have trouble seeing, but sitting that close to the stage puts you close to the speakers. Those can be rather loud at times.
