We walked from Belmar on the beach to The Washington Ave Beach to meet some friends. The beach was clean and it was less crowded than Belmar. The boardwalk and facilities are very nice too.

Excellent beach for the locals and local hotel guests.Clean white sand, beautiful boardwalk with no honky-tonk attractions. Not a destination for day trippers. Good for adults and families with children
