High Point is at the very top of NJ. State Route 23 goes right thru it but not that many people find their way here. You can swim in Lake Marcia, fish, hike and camp here. From the veterans memorial monument you have a vast...More

Excellent views from many trails. If there is not enough snow, you can have fun just hiking. There is a heated rest room building at the far end of the parking lot. There's also restrooms, a snack bar, ski rentals and they keep a fire...More

I enjoyed the trails and the monument, though I wish it had been open to climb when I visited. I was a little wigged out by the frequent gunshots (the state park is open to hunters for several weeks in the fall).

High Point is fun to visit year-round, but it is nice in warmer weather to see the sunset and in fall, for peak foliage. Since it is so easy to drive up to the monument, it also gets crowded, especially on the weekends and holidays....More

Nice time to go to this state park. No entrance fee after the summer. Plenty of interesting sights with a nice lake with beach. I also like the monument which is at the highest point in NJ.
