Acme bought and remodeled PathMark. It is an expensive (some prices are higher than in convenience stores) supermarket, not a tourist attraction. The only reason to write this review is to let people know that they may consider finding other places to shop.

ACME IN VENTNOR: BIG STORE VARIETY, SMALL STORE COURTESY Who writes about supermarkets? I do when there’s a good reason. The good reason is that self-described “Crazy Blonde” who happens to be the manager of the Acme Market. (See her in action below). I called about a minor product question and Lisa said “come over and look for the Crazy Blonde”. I did. No crazy lady this one. Just a very effective leader in this refurbished and better-stocked store that was previously a dimming enterprise. You’ll find it on Wellington Ave., a picturesque bayside road on the backside of Ventnor, where you can check the tides and enjoy gorgeous sunsets. Wellington is an extension of Atlantic City's West End Ave., which curves to the right when you come off Exit 2 (Ventnor, Margate…) of the AC Expressway. Stay next to the bridge. Easy to miss. This store will save you from trips to offshore supermarkets or smaller, more expensive ones. It is on the way to Ventnor, Margate and Longport. Lisa sets the tone for her dedicated helpful crew. The store has the variety of a large market but preserves the courtesy of a “ye olde” neighborhood corner store. Norm, The Traveling Gourmet. …
