I have traveled the world.. There is no better beach than the Wildwoods! From the Crest to North Wildwood the beach varies in size and closeness. The water is VERY clean and can be cool in the spring. The Fall the water is warm.

Beach is free, free, free, clean and large. Plenty of space to layout. Due to the size, getting back and forth from the boardwalk and the water can be a hike. Water is relatively clean, but not transparent. Boardwalk is next to beach. Parking can be...More

Had a great time with our 17 tear old son. Lots of food choices. Beach and boardwalk very clean. We were there during biker weekend "Roar to the Shore". Lots to see great security we felt very safe.

Large clean and wonderful. Went in September so it wasn't crowded but we have been here in the summer and was still great!

Walked the beach but it was end of season, many places closed and rest closing next day so it wasn't peak of season, beach muddy and green in places, not even any whole shells to collect.

I enjoyed the boardwalk and all the good food options. I refused to get in the water... just didn't look appealing. I would return.

Although we went when the crowds were small, the size of the beach would make it difficult to bump into people even if it's busy. Clean, easy to access, and comfortable.

There used to be, even showers, but now you have to change in one of their public restrooms without getting caught. Things have gone down hill in Wildwood!

This is a bit late - I hope you had a great trip! I think a few of the hotels offer complimentary, first come first served beach items, such as chairs. However, in the in-season, there are beach item rentals and they have... More
