Clean & Beautiful Beach!

I didn't see any signs of trash at all on the beach. I went in July, it was kind of crowded, but we were able to make do of it. Definitely one of my favorite beaches in New Jersey!

Personally I prefer Wildwood Crest as it's less touristy but it's fun to go to Wildwood too for the entertainment.

A workout just to get to the actual ocean. Been coming here for over 40 years (since I was a preschooler). Still my favorite beachside experience. Love my FL home beaches, but wish we had a version of the boardwalk somewhere.

We went to the beach in Wildwood Crest. The wide sandy beach was beautiful, clean, had bathrooms and lifeguards. No beach badges were required. Great swimming.

Love Wildwood! The beaches are so beautiful and clean. Stayed at a motel called the Pink Champagne which was a great stay. The boardwalk is great something to do for every age.

I have been going to wildwood beaches my whole life. (29 years to be exact). As someone who currently lives at the beach, I will drive the hour and change down to wildwood any day, as opposed to mine, to go their beaches. They are clean, wide, and free. I personally prefer to go to Wildwood Crest as apposed to... More

There are really only three negatives to the Wildwood beach -- the sand is *really hot* in the summer; there are jellyfish from about mid-August through September; and the walk from the Boardwalk to the ocean is really long. That said -- the positives include that the beach is free; that the sand is powdery and soft; the sand is... More

Not exceptionally clean but Wildwood area has definitely improved over the past 5 years. Wood path down to the water is a great idea!

It is our first time my family and I went there and we had so much fun. The water is clean and miles of fine sand. My 15 month old daughter had fun playing in the sand and it was her first time getting sand under her feet, happy memories

Open, wide, and free beach access. You can walk out into the water as much as 100 feet in certain places and still be in water below your head. Waves roll in more than crash, although they can be higher and stronger before and after storms. Great boogie boarding. Kids can have great fun by the waters edge since the... More
