Lazy morning spent paddling with Michael on the river who pointed out everything worthwhile seeing. Kids loved it, too. Nothing too strenuous, lots of birds to observe, but if you are in the Addo region I'd recommend this activity only after you have seen the elephant :)

We choosed the Quad tour, which takes 1,5 hours and which has some challenges, but be surprised. The only strange thing is that the tour mainly goes through Citrus plantages where the emission of the Quad engines would probably has an influence on the taste of the lemons and oranges... .

We appreciate all feedback and are sorry that you were confused by our experience and what it entailed. On arrival the guides would kit you out with helmets, goggles and safety gear. They also provide 2 piece suites for those needing them in the more muddy/wet weather, making this an all-weather activity. In order to get the best out of... More

We had a very nice and fun day at the Addo Park. We did the whole day Safari tour with CrissCross. It was so much fun, the guide was extremely friendly and really funny. Snacks and drinks were provided! The guide told us a lot about all the animals living in the park and he new a lot of spots... More

We were treated to the day trip of a lifetime by Michael who was the most knowledgeable and personable guide one could imagine. We learned a lot more about elephants than we had at other reserves but Michael's expertise extended way beyond the 'stars' of Addo - we will always remember Michael's eulogy to the tortoise and his description of... We booked a full day trip to Addo which we thoroughly enjoyed. We were picked up at Chrislin African Lodge where were were staying at 8.30 and returned at 6pm. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and because he was in text contact with other guides took us directly to see the action. This is the place for elephants and... More

With a large group we booked a day's experience including a canoe trip on the river and a game drive in Addo. The staff was fantastic, knowledgeable and mostly accommodating, they cooked an incredible lunch and the entire day was simply unforgettable!

We drove ourselves to meet the guides. Not knowing the area they had sent us very good directions. The guides were very good and although we were newbies at it we soon got the hang of canoeing. The guides made our morning one to remember when he floated a fish for a Fish Eagle to swoop down onto, it gave... More

We had the most amazing day thanks to CrissCross adventures. We opted for the morning river cruise and the afternoon game drive. To be honest, unless you really like bird watching, the river cruise was only ok. This is a personal preference and no reflection on CrissCross or Traste, our guide. We just got a little bored after an hour.... More

CrissCross had been recommended to us by our Game Lodge and we had a tremendous day with Mike, one of their guides. We had a sublimely relaxing, drift and occasional paddle down the Sundays River in the morning, seeing lots of bird life, then a swim in the river while Mike cooked a fantastic lunch over a fire. Then on... More

We did the morning river safari tour and had a blast. We felt that the guiding was quite high quality at CrisCross; Michael was funny and patient and knew his stuff, and we enjoyed our help from Allen too! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Addo. It was unique to get on the river and we saw lots of cool... More
