We stopped over one night to view this magnificent landmark. We were not disappointed. We have stayed over in various Sanpark chalets and this one was the best for us. Clean and very spacious. Comfortable beds and decent pillows. The walkways around the falls are...More

We arrived without booking and luckily the campsite wasnt busy. Facilities (braai, kitchen, laundry and ablutions) well equipped and very clean. Walking the canyon is well marked and so well maintained. Baboons do lurk the campsite but we just keep food locked away and not...More

Aside from the natural beauty, the facilities are very good and I can recommend the restaurant. The boardwalks and viewing decks are brilliant.

I visited the Orgrabies Falls in July 2017. I was told that July was not a good time to visit as it was not the rainy season. I did however go and was not disappointed. There was an abundance of water with magnificent views. Access...More

Drive to Echo Corner and stop at Moon Rocks, Ararat and Oranjekom. The surroundings are like a moonscape: rocky, arid and hilly. We have never visited in summer because of the heat, but during the winter months it's pleasant to do the walks. Many bird...More

Comfortable and well appointed rooms. The resort is well maintained and facilities clean. Friendly staff and easy check in. Because of the drought the falls were disappointing. The walkways are good to allow for access to the various viewpoints. I do think some information boards at various points would enhance the experience & a visit here. The restaurant was average.

Cool park with so much more than the waterfalls. Loads of different geography and geology, and lots of animals I do not usually see on the North eastern side of the country. The accommodation was clean and well equipped. You get the sense from the...More

The road to the falls itself you will be fine as it is tarred. Even within the park you should be fine to drive the gravel roads, but do not attempt the 4x4 marked roads.

For day visitors it is 07:00-18:00. The falls are obviously the main attraction, but you can take a game drive on the marked paths which I always enjoy. There are a few walking routes if you want to walk but take water with... More
